1. All quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to these terms and conditions.
2. A deposit of 50% of the total quoted price is required to be paid to confirm the booking. By making this deposit payment, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and the relevant “fact sheet” that formed part of your quote.
3. Once the final invoice is issued on completion of job, the remaining 50% balance is due within 7 days.
4. If you believe there is a discrepancy or error, please contact us within 7 business days of receiving the invoice to resolve the issue.
5. The client is to inspect the work upon completion and notify us of any defects in writing within 5 business days.
6. All invoices are payable within the stated payment terms. Any invoice not paid by the due date may incur a late payment fee to cover administrative costs, plus interest charged at a reasonable rate until payment is received in full.
7. We do not accept liability for safety and security of materials stored on the premises during installation.
8. A 10-year labour warranty applies to all our installations.
9. Wet weather can impact booking dates and may result in the postponing of jobs.
10. In the case of job cancellation, 15% of the total job value is non-refundable to cover administrative costs.
11. For replacement windows, due to the manufacturing process, no changes are permitted after the quote has been accepted.
12. Deposits are not required for jobs under the ACT Sustainable Household Scheme. In regards to the Electrical Safety Inspection, the customer is required to pay this fee, even if they choose not to proceed with the insulation works.
13. We may take before and after photos of the work completed for training and marketing purposes. These images will never show faces, street numbers or other identifying details of your home or property.
14. During insulation works (excluding underfloor), the power will be turned off and electrical board locked for the duration of the installation.
15. For every person you refer who goes ahead with an insulation, double glazing, skylight, or shade sail installation within 6 months, you’ll receive a $50 voucher from your choice of Bunnings, Coles Group, or Woolworths. If you refer 10 people who proceed with us, you could receive $500 in vouchers. Vouchers will be emailed once the referred installation is complete.
16. When you choose two or more of our services you’ll enjoy a 5% discount on your project. Returning customers also receive 5% off when they add another service.
17. When new safety switches (RCBOs) are installed, they are designed to pick up even small electrical faults that older circuit breakers or fuses may not detect. If there are any existing earth leakage issues, the new RCBOs may trip as a safety precaution. In some homes, different circuits may be interconnected — meaning wires from separate circuits are mixed together. If this is the case, the new RCBOs will detect it and trip to keep you safe. If any of these issues occur, our electrician will need to carry out fault finding to locate and fix the problem so that the new safety switches operate correctly. Fault finding is charged at $165.00 + GST per hour, and this can be discussed with our electrician while on site before any extra work is carried out. We cannot take responsibility for any pre-existing faults or incorrect wiring that may be uncovered during the installation.
